The Foundation for Accredited Learning
Code of Conduct
The Foundation for Accredited Learning (FAL) is a professional association that serves as an accreditation body for various educational providers. The Board of Directors has adopted, and commends to its learning providers, the following code of conduct.
The objective of this code is to provide guidance for appropriate conduct for learning providers accredited by the Foundation for Accredited Learning as they engage in development and administration of learning programs.
Rules of Conduct:
Providers accredited by the Foundation for Accredited Learning shall:
Exercise caution not to misrepresent the credentials, training or experience of personnel involved in their operations.
Exercise caution not to misrepresent their course development, course administration, quality control and record-keeping procedures.
Develop and administer each of their courses to meet stated, published learning objectives.
Exercise caution not to misrepresent the learning objectives at which their courses are directed.
Maintain confidentiality concerning both personal and business information gathered in the performance of their professions, except in the case of overriding legal concerns.
Act with integrity to uphold the standards of their profession and of the Foundation for Accredited Learning and avoid any conduct that could adversely reflect on FAL and its accredited learning providers.
